Our Place Wye

The Our Place Wye project aims to nurture a more active and integrated community. One which is more inclusive, resilient and responsive to individual needs and promotes wellbeing today, and has the physical and social infrastructure to support itself as a healthy, caring and sustainable community in the future.

"Promoting good health rather than treating poor health"

News... Communicator (Facebook) needed

Our Place Wye is delighted to announce that it has received a National Lottery Awards For All grant for a project entitled Building Buddies: Wye Caring for Wye.

The aim of this exciting new project is to improve communication in the village, to make it easier for people to get involved in the running of our thriving community, and to support our neighbours.

The project will involve building and managing a new Wye Facebook page and publishing a monthly bulletin which will be distributed to all households.

Our Place Wye will be contracting someone to work on Building Buddies from September, for one year. The individual must be an excellent writer, well-practiced at Facebook and, if not a resident of Wye, at least very familiar with the village.

For more information about the new Communicator (Facebook) role, please see Wye Jobs

News... Wye Community Lunches are back on the menu

Our Place Wye community lunches will be available again Wednesday 13th September and Wednesday 20th September, at the usual time of 12.00 for 12.30. These two sessions will be at Luckley House, as building works are still in progress at the Village Hall.

To book your seat please contact Richard Sinden 07969 583 920.
